Xiaomi Smart Watch
Xiaomi’s crowd-funded platform MIJIA has launched a new smart-watch called Hey S3 by We Loop.
Xiaomi has its hands in almost every consumer electronics category, smartphones, fitness bands, TVs, action cameras to things such as routers, Android TV players, and even drones and many more product for everyone . So it is but natural to expect the Chinese phone maker to have a smartphone in the works. According to a China-based analyst Pan Jiutang, Xiaomi smart watch is Slated to release quite soon date will be mentioned below.
According to Jiutang, the power consumption on the watch is comparable to that seen on Garmin’s variables. There will most likely be two variants of the upcoming Xiaomi smart watch one costing CNY 999 (According to INR is Rs 10,000) and the other costing CNY 1599 (Rs 16,000).The smart-watch looks a lot like Apple’s Watch Nike+ edition model.
While one would expect Xiaomi’s smart watches to sport Android Wear OS, Jiutang’s information does not confirm or deny that. There has obviously been no response from Xiaomi on the matter.
But if we keep Xiaomi’s past history in mind, it can do to the smart watch category what its Mi phones have done to the smartphone segment and Mi Bands have done for the fitness tracker segment. Getting a feature packed device at an affordable price point and notice to other brands smart watch prices also. As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Hey S3 smart watch features a 1.28-inch touchscreen display with 176 x 176 resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 coating. Furthermore, the device includes a feature that tracks the distance covered by the wearer and comes with the Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity option.
The smart-watch is available in three colour variants: Green Youth, Dynamic Black and Bright Red.Earlier in Aug, Huami’s CEO (which makes the Mi Bands) had confirmed that the smartwatch would come out in Q2 Now after November there in Indian market.
