Indian Car manufacturer NEXON TATA MOTORS is On full Swing Recently Tata launched Tata Hexa in the SUV section now Tata Motors Again launched NEXON Subcompact SUV. This is car is completely capable to manage Indian traffic.
Seems to have picked up the scent and has been busy constructing a compact SUV for our market. According to some sources This car will available in the second half of 2017 in showrooms. We all had seen this car in 2016 auto expo in Delhi.
If we see this car in terms of inner comfort then it is featured a rotary drive modes selector, chrome bits around gear, dual tone dashboard and gloss trim on sides of the centre console. The floating touchscreen infotainment system is also available which is seen in Luxury cars like Audi , instead it sported a 2-DIN audio system. If we say about safety then it NEXON TATA MOTORS is likely to get dual airbags and ABS as standard
We already seen this will be consider as Compact NEXON Subcompact SUV . It follows the tradition design of Tara cars These comprise of – The Humanity Line, Diamond DLO and the Slingshot Line. Designers have also made use of ceramic finish appliques in the front bumper, window line and the at the back. This car will truly attract the young brigade and it’s being tough competition for current ruling cars
Tata might carry on with the successful 1.3-litre multijet diesel with the output of 110bhp at 4,000rpm and torque of 200Nm at 1,750-3,000rpm. While a five-speed manual transmission will be available, we may also get the five-speed AMT gearbox too. Petrol power will be supplied from the 1.2-litre motor that presently powers the Zest and Bolt. 90bhp at 5,000rpm along with 140Nm at 1,500-4,000rpm is what this engine generates and will be mated to a five-speed manual box.
Price and competition
Tata is likely to introduce this important SUV in the Indian market to compete with the likes of the Ford Eco Sport, Mahindra TUV300 and the upcoming Maruti Vitara Brezza. Prices should be in the range of Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom) And launched in second half of 2017
