Now Delhiites You can use free wifi service in Delhi metro on Blue line (Dwarka sector 21 to Noida/Vaishali)
This service launched on Friday in Delhi this service is available on 50 stations in this line . According to metro officials they said “With this facility, passengers will be able to use all standard Internet applications inside the station premise”
Delhi metro passengers would provide Wi-Fi on its entire network in a phased manner and soon this service will be launched for the Yellow Line (HUDA City Centre-Samaypur Badli) and in Airport Line metro trains in six to nine months.
Airport line stations already have this free wifi service from October last year.
After demonisation Delhi metro has already improve its cashless facilities for example We can charge our metro card through Paytm And other mobile wallet apps.
In their statement DMRC said “The DMRC today launched the cashless token sale/smart card recharge facility by using the Bharat Quick Response (QR) code displayed at the token counters and customer care centres of metro stations,”
We hope soon DMRC will provide more services To serve people of delhi and the day is not too far when delhi metro will be in the list of world top class metro services.
