Attack on singer Parmish Verma: Cops nab gangster Dilpreet Baba’s aide:-
Parmish Verma, a popular Punjabi singer, was shot at by unidentified assailants on Saturday in Mohali.
Singer, actor and music producer Parmish Verma has been injured in a gunshot fired by Punjab gangster Dilpreet Dahan. The incident took place on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, when Parmish was returning home in Mohali with his friend Kulwant, after a performance at a mall in Chandigarh. According to Mohali SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal, when the two reached Sector 74, Dilpreet opened fire on them outside a housing society.
12.30am: Verma turns into Sector 74 when the Creta overtakes his vehicle and cuts him off. A man alights and fires six rounds at the Fortuner.
Chahal is hit in the leg while a bullet brushes past Verma’s leg. He immediately starts driving away and calls up senior superintendent of police,Mohali, Kuldeep Singh Chahal. He informs the SSP of his location, who advises him to keep driving. The attacker gets back into the Creta and flees.
At around 4 am a few hours after the shooting, Dilpreet Singh Dhahan, a local gangster, took to social media to claim responsibility for the shooting.
In a Facebook post, the gangster said that Mr Verma had “tried his best to escape, but eventually suffered.” The gangster said in the post that he had “warned” the singer, saying that their “face to face” meeting had cost him.

Dhahan shared two images in the Facebook status, with one image showing the gangster posing with a pistol and the other of thesinger, marked with a red cross, a sign that the gangster had ‘eliminated’ his target.
